Do Not Fear

After Moses died Joshua became leader of God’s people. This appointment was already predetermined by God himself in Deuteronomy 31 vs 14, (please read the entire chapter). .

This was a great task which became real for Joshua in Joshua chapter 1 vs 2-5. The fear of leading the people made him nervous, so God charged him again as he did before in Deuteronomy chapter 31 saying, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1 vs 9). God was about to perform miracles beyond Joshua’s human comprehension and there was no place for fear.

Where there is fear there is no faith and where there is faith there is no fear.

Let us pray: Lord I repent of my sins today. I declare your word in 2nd Timothy 1 vs 7, that you did not give me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. I thank you for your word and for setting me free from fear, in Jesus name. Amen.

Until next time. God bless you.
