Love

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.” 1st John 4 vs 7

Today I posted a little nugget on my Facebook page about love. Sometimes we are so caught up with doing life that we forget to tell our love ones that we love them. We forgot what it feels like to spend time with our family and friends. Now that we have (against our will) slowed down a bit or a whole lot lets catch up on our love connections. Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time and tell that person you love them, whether its family or a close friend.

Some of us may have some forgiving to do and some of us need to be forgiven but someone must make the first move. Let that someone be you, trust me you will feel much better. The word of God says love covers a multitude of sin (1st Peter 4 vs 8). It is time for us to pray about things and learn to disagree in love. Trust me I wrote a book on that very topic and I’m not saying that to promote my work, but I said it just to let you know that I too had to learn how to love through pain and hurt.

So, what are you waiting for? Start spreading the love. And make sure to send some back to me.

Let us pray:  Lord I repent of my sins today. Thank you for your word. As I follow you Lord help me to love others unconditionally just like you. Your word in 1st Corinthians 13 says love suffereth long, its kind, it does not envy or vaunteth itself and it is not puffed up. Help me Lord to represent you here on earth, by loving others in Jesus name. Amen. Until next time. God bless you.
