Exceedingly

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3 vs 20.

Sometimes when I read the word of God, I cannot help but pause and meditate. For example, this verse in Ephesians chapter 3 vs 20 get me all the time. My interpretation of this verse is that no matter what I ask for and no matter how unachievable it may seem to me, as long as its in Gods will for my life he will grant me more than what I asked for, and not only that, but there is nothing that I can even think about that is beyond his abundance!  How cool is that!!

When Jesus said with God all things are possible (Matthew 19 vs 26), he meant what he said and it’s not a statement that we should take lightly. Never get too comfortable with God’s word that it has lost its effect on you. I know quite a few people who just use the word of God or take the word of God so casually that they themselves don’t even believe to see the manifestation of it when they speak it and unfortunately some may never will. You don’t have to shout it; you only need to believe it. Never ask God for things that you can afford or things that when you do the math its attainable! And don’t be afraid to ask either, he told us to ask and we shall receive (Matthew 7). Only make sure that your motives are true don’t ask for stuff because you are greedy or because you see someone else with it and you just have to have it. God will never grant you that. Only when you ask in truth and out of your need that God will hear your prayers, this is confirmed in James chapter 4 verse 3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because he ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

What are you in need of today? Remember no matter what it is God will always give you more. So, ask big, and prepare to share the overflow with others. Only ask with a pure conscience so that you will receive. I am in a season now where I think its time for me to buy my own home. I have never had any interest in buying a home but since recently that has become my desire. I have already contacted a few realtors even though I don’t see how I’ll be able to achieve this task anytime soon. But the thing is I believe in the word of God, and I completely believe what Ephesians 3 vs 20 says so I am believing God for my dream home. I have placed the vision of my home before the Lord and it shall come to pass according to his will for me. The house I have in my vision is absolutely beautiful!  I know it is not all about material things, but there is no sin in asking for something that you need. Matthew 6 vs 33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Please go ahead and ask God for what you want because his desire is to grant us the desires of our hearts (Psalms 37).

Let us pray:  Lord I repent of my sins today. Thank you for your word. Thank you for the dream that you have placed in my heart and for your word that makes it possible. Please give me the patience to wait on the manifestation of your word in my life, in Jesus name. Amen. Until next time. God bless you.
