“Praise him with the sound of the trumpet, praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance. Praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals. Praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord, praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 150: 3-6
This song has been on my mind and in my spirit. So, I decided to share it on Today’s word. Sometimes all we need is a song to uplift our spirit and to give God all the praise that he deserves. May your hearts be blessed today as we continue to give God praise. Have a bless weekend.
Sing with me “Praise My Soul” by Henry Francis Lyte
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
to his feet your tribute bring.
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
evermore his praises sing.
Praise the everlasting King!
Praise him for his grace and favor
to his people in distress.
Praise him, still the same as ever,
slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Glorious in his faithfulness!
Fatherlike, he tends and spares us;
well our feeble frame he knows.
In his hand he gently bears us,
rescues us from all our foes.
Widely yet his mercy flows!
Angels, help us to adore him;
you behold him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before him,
dwellers all in time and space.
Praise with us the God of grace!
Let us pray. Lord, please forgive me of my sins today. Thank you for your word. Thank you that I am among the living today with this awesome opportunity to give you praise. Hallelujah! I praise you Lord and I Lift your name high in Jesus’ name. Amen. Until next time. God bless you all.
