The Jordans In Your Life

Today’s word is taken from Joshua chapter 3. I often get excited whenever I read that chapter, how God caused the Jordan to stand up and rose up upon an heap (vs. 16).

I remember growing up one of our main chores was to sweep the yard until it was spotless and we would heaped up the garbage into one or two heaps. That is how I vision this remarkable move of God! River Jordan was overflowing its banks at the time when Joshua and the children of Isreal crossed over. It was at its highest peak! and thats when God choose to roll it back. What a mighty God we serve. He specialises in the things that are deemed impossible. He not only rolled back the water but caused it to stand still into an heap!! He even stopped the flow of Jordan from all the entry points….no movement of water until His people were safe on the other side.

What is your Jordan today? is it unpaid bills? A bad Doctor’s report? Unemployment or your marriage is on the rocks? the presence of the Lord can change your circumstances today. Whatever is troubling you get into the presence of God. Read His word daily and release your faith to receive His promises. Psalms 114 tells us what happens when we are in His presence your mountains will skipped like rams and your little hills become like lambs. Every issue will bow in His presence.
